Senior C++ Engineer [Vietnam]

 

As a Senior C++ Engineer at EPAM Vietnam, you'll get involved in dealing with capture systems that manage interest rate derivatives/credit derivatives/bonds globally across all time zones. This role is ideal for someone with solid knowledge and expertise in C#, application development, and Scrum/Agile methodology.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Implement new developments and re-factorization to improve and optimize performance; conduct extensive analysis, maintenance, and bug fixing
• Write automated unit tests and contribute to the CI/CD migration of the application
• Participate in project activities, including design, estimation, release, and post-release activities to ensure the projects deliver successfully
• Perform code reviews for the team and provide technical guidance to junior developers to ensure code quality and consistency
• Learn about the product and all parts of the system at the code level to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the application
• Frequently interact with business analysts, other application and architecture teams, and production support to ensure project requirements are met and stakeholders are informed of progress

WHAT YOU HAVE

• 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience in software development and system architecture with C++
• High level of comfort and expertise in C++ programming, including OOPs, STL, multi-threaded applications, and Services
• Excellent understanding and practical experience of RDBMS / SQL and MFC
• Experience in Unit Tests and CI/CD
• Being familiar with PL/SQL Oracle, IBM MQ, and TIBCO RV is a plus
• Upper-Intermediate (B2/B2+) or higher level of spoken and written English
